Leonie Darch Dip Hyp CS, GHR, GQHP, HBCE
Leonie has been teaching Hypnofertility and Hypnobirthing since 2011 after gaining her Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling and going on to study Hypnobirthing, Antenatal Education and Reproductive Health. Leonie’s approach breaks away from the old stigma of hippy and alternative practices and embraces evidence based techniques and education that will give you control over whatever happens during your journey from pre-conception to labour, leaving you feeling positive and proud of your experience.
Over the years Leonie has continued to research and specialise in all areas of women’s health and has a thriving hypnotherapy practise.
Leonie's own birth experience inspired her to qualify as a Hypnobirthing Practitioner and she trained with the international HypnoBirthing® Institute - The Mongan Method. Leonie is registered and approved by FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Educators) and The Wise Hippo Hypnobirthing Programme.
Leonie currently holds the position of Chair Person of the Warwickshire Pregnancy and Birth Network and she is an active User Rep for the Maternity Partnership within the South Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Many of Leonie's clients choose to birth at Warwick Hospital and she is a committee member of the Birth and Babies Fundraising Committee for the Midwifery Led Unit (Opened July 2018)
When she’s not working you will find Leonie pulling on her trainers for a run, walking the dog Chester and being Mum to her very own hypnobirthing babies (or hypnobirthing pre-teens now!)
Family Mental Health is important to Leonie and in 2018 Leonie ran the London Marathon as part of team NSPCC. Guess what? Yes, Leonie hypnobirthed her way around 26 miles! Read her blog on marathon vs birth here
